∴ Anchor Bond ∴ | Anchor Necklace & Dog Tag

The anchor holds position in moving water. This is not a passive function.

To hold position against a current requires a force equal to the force of the current, exerted silently, without visible effort, without yielding. In early Christian iconography, the anchor was a disguised cross, the symbol of faith worn where persecution made the open cross dangerous. The anchor is the symbol of resistance to drift: the capacity to hold position when position would otherwise be lost.

Your companion is an anchor in the most literal sense. The structure of the day organizes around them. The morning walk. The evening routine. The presence that requires the day to have a structure around it. The drift that would otherwise happen does not happen because the anchor holds.

This listing contains two separate items, sent together as one order. The Anchor Medallion necklace, worn by you. The Anchor Sigil dog tag, worn by your companion. When you order, include your companion's name and contact information in the order notes and the dog tag will be engraved before it ships.
