∴ The Companion Bond ∴
The word symbol comes from the Greek symbolon: an object broken in two, each half given to a different person as proof of a bond. When the two halves were brought together, the join was the evidence. The relationship was written into the object itself.
Every piece in this collection carries the same symbol in two forms: one worn by you, one carried by your companion. The necklace and the tag are not matching products. They are the two halves of the same symbolon, one at your neck, one at their collar, the same mark held by two different bodies moving through the world together.
The bond does not require words. The symbol carries it.
