Swan Necklace | Symbol of Grace & Transformation
Description
The swan in Orphic tradition was associated with Apollo and with the moment of death understood as transition: the swan song, the final utterance before the crossing into another mode of existence. Swans were understood to sing most beautifully at the moment of death, which made them the appropriate creature for the threshold between life and whatever follows it. In Norse mythology, the Valkyries took the form of swans when they wished to move between the worlds unseen.
The swan is the threshold creature: most fully itself precisely at the point of crossing.
925 sterling silver base. Available in White Gold Plated, Yellow Gold Plated, and Rose Gold Plated finishes. Suspended on a matching chain.
Care
Your piece is made to last a lifetime, but it still deserves a little devotion. Keep it dry, store it away from other metals, and wipe it clean after wear. Small rituals like these are what keep a symbol sharp for years to come.
Design
Every piece begins as an idea worth carrying, then it's shaped, cast, and finished by hand until the symbol feels inevitable. This isn't decoration. It's craft made to mean something.
